Residue Derived Fuel (RDF)

COMP-ANY Membrane Covered and Controlled Composting Technology

Waste contains both native (like wood, fibres or fat) and synthetic (like plastic or lubricant) organic matter. Both organic matter fractions can be turned
into a residue derived fuel, so-called "RDF".

The use of RDF as a fuel for engines or for electricity and heat production is a common practice. These Waste-to-Energy or Waste-to-Fuel technologies
have achieved a high grade of development in terms of low environmental impacts and high thermal efficiency. By innovative processes most organic
waste fractions can be converted into high-quality fuels, be it in a solid, liquid or gaseous form.
