Sustainability

COMP-ANY Membrane Covered and Controlled Composting Technology

Above illustration shows the concept of sustainable use. It all starts with a gift from nature providing us with productive systems creating a surplus ready for harvest. As long as the amount harvested is not more than the annual surplus created, the use can be claimed to be sustainable which means lasting forever. Any harvesting in excess of the annual surplus reduces the productive stock of the resource resulting in smaller annual surplus in the following period. Continuous overexploitation will result in the total depletion of the resource, in other words no more use is possible.
Have a more detailed look into the concept of sustainability on the following pages explaining the three pillars from an ecological, economical and social point of view.
